Its an exciting time at Lake Huron Retreat Center as we proceed with a three-phase Master Plan to improve our facility and provide for our guests. Phase One Poole Chapel Renovation (currently in progress). Improvements to Poole Chapel include an addition with two restrooms, coffee station and lobby. The chapel will also receive a new heating/cooling system, upgraded electrical wiring, new lights, new roof and new siding. This project is scheduled for completion by June 1, 2008. |

Phase Two Kresge Dining Hall Renovation. As our ministry grows, we are in need of additional refrigeration and freezer space. Plans call for a small addition on the west side of the building to house this new unit. Plans also include creating a second public restroom and a break room for employees. Estimated cost is $50,000. Phase Three New Building North of Ragland Lodge. Our dream is a new building first floor will be a meeting space for 60+ guests, with storage, restrooms and coffee station. The second floor will be 10 guest rooms, double occupancy each. This project is estimated at $750,000. As God provides the necessary resources through the generosity of our guests and donors, plans for this three-phase Master Plan will proceed.
